Holy Week Activities
  • Songs on Wheels on Monday at 2.30pm – a very popular singing group who are much loved by the residents
  • Duck eggs – for hatching are arriving on Tuesday
  • Easter Egg Hunt on Easter Monday for Residents (helped by relatives, friends and staff) c. 2pm
The Chapel will have the full range of services for Holy Week and Easter:
  • Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday Mass at 10am
  • Maundy Thursday  – mass at 6.15pm, the Watch until 9pm.
  • Good Friday – Liturgy of Word at 10am
  • Holy Saturday – Easter Vigil at 6.15pm
  • Easter Sunday sung  mass at 10am
A request from Care England:

Care England are working an forthcoming report, in partnership with PLMR, that will help reframe the narrative around adult social care, showcasing the brilliant work done across the sector despite significant challenges.

The report will be launched in Parliament to MPs, Peers and key stakeholders across the healthcare sector.

We have launched a survey to gather real experiences of social care – from those who receive care, support loved ones, and work across the sector. The findings will directly inform our report.

We are asking you to:

  •  Share the survey widely with residents, families, and your workforce.
  •  Encourage participation across your networks.
  • Help ensure that lived experience is at the heart of this work.

The deadline for the survey is Wednesday, 1st April 2026.

The survey covers key issues including:

  • Experiences of receiving and providing care.
  • The role of social care in people’s lives and communities.
  • How well services work with the NHS.
  • What policymakers need to understand and do differently.

Every response will strengthen our ability to make a compelling, evidence-based case for change.
